Are Zombie Cells Making You Age Faster? | A Natural Approach To Senescent Cells

Have you been hearing about “zombie cells” and wondering if they could be making you age faster?

Scientists call them senescent cells, and they're getting a LOT of attention in the anti-aging and longevity world right now.

Researchers are looking at their connection to aging, inflammation, tissue repair, and what happens when these cells begin accumulating in the body.

And, of course, the big question has become:

How do we get rid of them?

But before we jump on another anti-aging discovery and start looking for the newest drug, supplement, or compound to eliminate zombie cells, I think there's a much bigger question we need to ask.

Why are they there in the first place?

And what did God already design your body to do about them?

Friend, this is where it gets fascinating.

In today's episode, we're going beneath the headlines and looking at the science of senescent cells through a completely different lens.

IN THIS EPISODE, YOU'LL DISCOVER:

  • What zombie cells actually are and why scientists are so interested in them

  • Why I believe we need to be cautious before automatically deciding these cells need to be eliminated

  • The incredible science behind what God already designed your body to do when cellular damage occurs

  • Why the environment surrounding your cells matters so much as you age

  • The question I believe we should be asking before chasing the latest anti-aging intervention

  • How I approach zombie cells from a natural, whole-body perspective

  • Why purification, detoxification and metabolic health are foundational pieces of the way I approach cellular rejuvenation

  • Questions to ask IF you are still wanting to clear away zombie cells after taking a natural approach (See below- not in recorded episode)

If you want to stay strong, vibrant, healthy, and independent as you age—but you don't want to chase every new anti-aging trend that comes along—this episode is for you.

Because your body isn't a collection of independent parts.

It's an incredibly sophisticated, interconnected system.

And sometimes the better question isn't:

What can I take?

It's:

What does my body need from me?

ONE MORE QUESTION TO ASK YOURSELF

After listening, you might be wondering:

What if my body still isn't clearing these cells the way it should?

That's where I would start asking why.

Instead of immediately asking, “What can I take to kill these cells?” start investigating where the process may be breaking down.

Ask yourself:

  • Am I continually creating more cellular stress than my body can keep up with?

  • How is my metabolic health?

  • How well are my mitochondria producing the energy these repair and cleanup processes require?

  • Is my immune system functioning optimally and able to do its surveillance and cleanup work?

  • Am I supporting healthy liver, kidney, lymphatic and elimination processes?

  • Am I giving my body the nutrition, movement, hydration, sleep and recovery it needs?

  • What chronic physical, environmental or emotional burdens might my body continually be managing?

And if you've worked on the foundation and something still isn't functioning properly, that's information too.

Don't just assume aging is the answer.

Ask:

Where is the process breaking down, and why?

That's the kind of question that helps you determine your next step.

Because my goal isn't to chase every new anti-aging discovery.

It's to understand the body, support the systems God already put in place, and then determine where additional support may actually be needed.
