This podcast video is about, is just letting you know what could be happening in your body, how serious it is overall, and to give you an answer for that. we have these beautiful, wonderfully, fearfully made bodies.
that God gave us as a gift. These bodies belong to God. And we are to steward our bodies where the Holy Spirit lives and be responsible. And in that, being healthy, we should live a wonderful quality of life up until our last breath. 80, 90, 100 years old, you should be independent doing the things that you love to do. Illness, dis-ease,
is truly, this is my point of view and opinion, and many others who were in the 1700s, 1800s believed it is the responsibility of the person. And when they do not live right, when they do not fuel the body correctly, there are consequences. And the consequences being so many different conditions and diseases and things that we see today that are not resolved by pharmaceuticals.
but are resolved when you remove out of the body what is causing the problem and begin to live right. And this isn't to shame you or to come down on you hard with blame, but I believe the more I can empower people that are interested in getting to the best level of health that they can get to and helping them understand their bodies.
the easier it is for them to make better choices and to get to that level of health to when they are in the aging process and aging every day like we do, they won't feel it. is doing to your body. Because most people will think, everybody has 10 pounds, who cares? Like, what person doesn't have 10 to 15 pounds extra on their body after 40 years old? Well, in America, it is very common. In the United States, we are up against some issues. I get that. But the more you're informed with the right information, and the more you
want to take responsibility for your health. I don't mean that in a bad way. The better off you will be, the better you will feel, the better life you will have. I truly believe health, your God is number one, but health is so important. I don't care how much money you have. I don't care how many houses and relationships. None of that matters if you are sick, if you are in bed and you can't enjoy life because you're in pain or so. What I want is not
the perfect body, what I want for you and for myself is quality of life and to live a life that naturally prevents conditions, diseases and premature aging. We don't want that. So that's what this is about. Most people have not been taught how to eat correctly, how to live and how to think in a responsible way that God pretty much laid out in the Bible.

of how to do that. There's many interpretations of what people read in the Bible, and I get that too. But the point is, and how I look at it, is if you look at the results of people that eat a certain way, what happens to the body? The body starts to respond. Its natural healing process kicks in. It's not that we need these things to heal us.
It's what we get out of the body so it can naturally self-heal as it is programmed to do in the DNA of every cell. So in how I look at health, you take care of one cell, you take care of all cells. And when you are taking care of your cells secondarily to taking care of your heart, your emotional and mental wellness, in
that is a pathway to getting to your healthiest body. So that's what I love to help people learn how to do is steward your body, steward your heart in the way that the Bible tells us to. So moving forward, why do people have these 10 to 15, 20 plus pounds and are not doing anything about it? Well, I think there's three common reasons before I get to those 10 consequences. The three reasons are number one, I think most doctors minimize
what those 10 to 15 pounds are actually doing, if they even know what they're doing. I also think that people think that it's normal because it is so common in our culture. Wherever we go, we see people that are 20 plus pounds overweight. Unless you're in the gym, you you may see a percentage of people that are healthy and their normal ideal body weight. Not to mention that our numbers have been changing. Whether it's cholesterol, blood pressure, or ideal weight,
Those numbers have been changing since the 40s. So if you want to look at what is the real number, go back to that time period to look at what the normal range for certain lab work, ideal weight, all of those numbers look there. And then the third reason I think people have 10 to 15 pounds on is because they think dieting is hard.

They think they have to miss out on the foods that they love, and that is simply not the case. The truth is, as I took people through a purification program, which was 21 days, and I would have men come in and they'd be like, I don't even like vegetables. I don't eat vegetables, or just minimal fruits and vegetables. And as they went through the purification program, they began to acquire
truly a taste for vegetables. Why do you think that is? Because of the natural tendency of the liveliness of those foods giving you energy. There's an energy transfer helping you to be hydrated, moving digestion through which automatically will give you more energy due to the nature of that mechanism of how
You start eating food, breaking down food, distributing nutrients. People feel better. And so they naturally tend to, they have a tendency to say, you know what? I don't think I want that pizza again. You know, I think I'll have a salad tonight. And they start to feel better. So they acquire those tastes. So I just wanted to say, it's not difficult to eat healthy to lose weight. It's just a matter of opening your mind to new ideas.
and new ways to make the foods that you love so you don't feel like you are dieting. I eat whatever I want when I want. And that's what I help my clients and patients do because I don't want anyone to be on a diet. As you know, in the diet matrix, it just propels a cycle of ups and downs in weight and health. And the diet matrix is designed to keep you in it. I want to help you get out of it. I want to help you get healthy.
Losing weight is not a difficult thing. Matter of fact, it's simple. just people have a misconception about it. So the consequences, this isn't about vanity, about looking in the mirror or the scale and seeing a number for your ego. This is about getting healthy and honoring your body the way God told us to and we should be doing because we will have such a high quality of life if we learn to live correctly.

So what can happen to your body just 10 to 15 pounds overweight? Number one, lymphatic congestion. The lymphatic system is your sewer system. And when this system becomes clogged, that can affect every other system in your body. The reason being because the lymphatic system follows your blood supply. So think of the blood is serving the cells, it's bringing nutrition and oxygen.
Well, these cells, think of it as a little body, has to poop. It has to get rid of waste. Where does this waste go? It has to go somewhere, right? Well, it goes into what's called the lymphatic system. And that then takes all of the waste and takes it away so the cell's environment and where it lives is healthy. You wouldn't want to live in a room of trash, right? You want to get it out.
of the house. So you take it outside and then it gets delivered on its way to the dump. Well, that's the same with your body. It moves all of those particles from each cell, all the waste out. That creates a more alkaline environment, I should say, a more fluid environment and not an acidic environment. You have an acidic environment, you have corrosion, you have hardening. Things are on fire. Things are of the acidic nature.
And so the lymphatic system, when you have fat cells that are putting off inflammatory chemicals, you are creating an environment for cellular breakdown. If you have an extra 10 to 15 pounds, you are making that system, that circulation of that system to move out of the body difficult. You'll see how
that can truly impact another system when you are expanding cells bigger than they need to be. All right, second reason, hormonal disruption, which is very common due to the nature of all of the hormone disruptors in our environment, in our foods, in plastic, in the things we think we're drinking, bottled water, and that water has leached.

plastics that harm your hormones. So after years, you have an accumulation of hormone disruption that can increase your ability to put on weight. You have increased in cravings. You have appetite swings. You have different chemicals giving you mixed signals. Think if you're a woman, what has happened in menopause is that's a natural stage in a woman's body, but it's gotten such a bad rap. Why?
Because women over 40, 50, 60 years old, they have so much hormone disruption that they're experiencing hot flashes, weight gain, foggy brain, all of these different symptoms from a very natural process that should not be harmful to you and cause you aggravation with these symptoms. That is not normal.
But as you go through menopause, naturally, if your body's healthy and you're not carrying that extra 10 to 15 pounds, your symptoms of menopause will be minimal. I'm 58, I've had minimal menopause symptoms. Just like going through pregnancy, I didn't have those typical pregnancy symptoms due to the nature of healthy cells. And you can have that too. This is reversible. Losing 10 to 15, 20, 30 pounds,
You can do this and it's so imperative because our hormones, this whole endocrine system is so powerful in all of the signals it's sending out and the messages, there are feedback loops. And if you have one chemical going to another place and it's not the chemical that would be of health, when it arrives there, it causes a different message to go out than if it were a healthy signal.
So then you've got repercussion after repercussion after repercussion. So that is very critical that we get our weight to our ideal weight so our hormones aren't all over the place with mixed signals in many different areas. The third is increased inflammation. Now this is a big one because inflammation is like a characteristic of so many conditions and health issues.

So let's just say when you're overweight, we know there's inflammation. There's inflammation in the digestive tract, and then all of where your weaknesses are in your particular body will show signs of inflammation. So what happens here, like let's say in the digestive tract, we have a slowing down of food. What's happening right now with ozimic? Slowing down of food so people don't get hungry. They think they're full.
their little amount of food is lasting much longer, but it's causing inflammation. So when they think they're losing weight, they are causing another problem that they're going to have to deal with. And then from inflammation, as you start to lose weight, which means you're probably eating less and eating healthier foods, the inflammation comes down and you start to digest your foods better.
pain, as noted here, inflammation just in muscles starts to decrease. When I go through the purification program, several things come up. Not just, okay, I lost weight, I had weight loss, but I'm sleeping better and my joints don't hurt as much. Why?
because you're helping to remove inflammation, cellular inflammation that's increased all over the body. Number four, the obvious is that we are accelerating aging for the various reasons. If we just took the first three, that, my gosh, we have hormone disruption that's going to cause premature aging. We have more inflammation, that's premature aging. We have a lymphatic system that has slowed down and not as efficient.
that causes accelerated aging. So losing the 10 to 15 pounds is doing so much more for your skin and your eyes and the things that women will go spend hundreds of dollars on to help improve that. But when you clean up your diet and you're getting healthier, you're getting to your ideal weight where all these other systems are operating better, your skin starts to glow. It's a natural byproduct of losing weight and getting

healthy. Number five, energy. Of course when we're eating right we're going to have more energy. When our digestion is functioning properly we have more energy because the mitochondria in the cell is able to function. That's the powerhouse. That's the energy maker. Well it can do that when cells are receiving the correct nutrients and not a lot of
processed foods or seed oils, which are getting a lot of press right now. When your diet is right, the multitude of positive effects of eating healthy are just numerous. And when you have more energy, say you're 70 and 80 years old, and you see that people have, they get tired more easy. They need afternoon naps. And
I understand why, because there's less efficient cells working. But I'm telling you, when you start to get your body to your ideal weight, that lack of energy at 70 or 80 years old doesn't exist. That is programming. That is seeing commercials online. Look how tired and hunched over and how bad we feel when we're 80, like we're supposed to expect that.
But when you eat healthy and the cells and the systems are communicating beautifully and working together and you're at your ideal weight, your energy levels will be just fine. And we've seen this with Jack Lillane and like these older old health gurus that would be on TV and infomercials and they're running around doing jumping jacks and they're almost 80 years old and they have more energy than 20 and 30 years old.
people of today. And it all has to do with what's going on in the cell. It is a lack of efficiency of a mitochondria not working as well. All right, moving on. Each one of these can be its own video, but nonetheless. Okay, blood sugar instability. Well, we know that just because of the nature of the foods that we're eating causing our diets to be out of whack, to put weight on, to be 10 to 15 pounds overweight.

We have different chemicals being released from fat cells. And when this happens, it does affect insulin. When we affect insulin, we are affecting energy. We are affecting so many other systems because insulin, blood sugar, we thought was just about, that's just the pancreas and digestion. It's regulating your whole body. So the glucose remains elevated.
more insulin. So if your diet's right, your the insulin's naturally going to come down and sugar instability is another consequence of the 10 to 15 pounds. Number seven, increase cardiovascular strain. We start getting more winded, we lose our endurance, we're increase in blood pressure. Why? Because the heart has to pump harder to get blood and oxygen through the fat.
through the extra vessels. The extra 10 to 15 pounds elevates your blood pressure and it creates a lot of strain for your heart. So we know that we have this extra increased cardiovascular strain and not only that, that when we look at the heart, we always have to look at the kidneys because they're coworkers together. If your heart is pumping harder for a longer period of time, we know that the kidneys are affected and we have to look at those.
the health of the kidneys as well. Number eight, of course, sleep. I've already mentioned that just due to the inflammation and hormones. When we sleep, that is our recovery period. This is when our body starts to repair. And when we have that extra weight, we have a difference in how we breathe when we're laying down supine. Our breathing patterns change and our blood sugar changes. And when that happens, it can affect our quality of sleep. Our cortisol goes up.
We don't have that nice restful sleep, which means less repair, which means premature aging taking an effect. So poor sleep is also a consequence of just 10 to 15 pounds overweight. Number nine, digestion and liver stress, which I already mentioned as well, that if we're not eating the proper foods, of course digestion is going to be impacted. 10 to 15 pounds, not only as easy as

is a byproduct of eating the wrong foods but poor digestion. Liver, 10 to 15 pounds overweight, we can get work harder. Our liver is our detoxifier. It is an organ with over 500 different jobs that it does for you. We want to make sure that our liver is working properly, which is why I take people through a purification program in my Healthy and Victorious program, a four-month.
health transformation. The reason I do that is because the power of the liver, it is key to your quality of health. yes, 10 to 15 pounds overweight, we know those two systems are working in overdrive. Number 10, brain fog and mental fatigue. Obviously we have a neurotransmitter imbalance.
due to the nature of fat cells and the diet that got you there. So when we have mental fog, also due to menopausal symptoms from hormone disruption, that affects your quality of life. If you're not able to recall a focus, think clearly, it could contribute to gaining more weight just for the fact that you think your mental fog needs energy and you grab quick fixes like energy drinks or
quick snacks and are they the right foods to help you balance blood sugar, get your energy production functioning properly? So I hope you see from these 10 consequences that they're all interacting. We're not like a car that we have an issue with one organ or system and we just take that organ out or bring a drug in or an herb or anything and we're going to fix it from the outside. We need to get stuff out of the body.
And then as the body gets the harmful obstruction out, the toxicity out, then the body does what it is designed to do, which is heal itself. If anything you get out of this, the body is a self-healing organism. But to do that, it has to have the right nutrients and function properly and meet all of those cellular requirements. And it's not difficult. It is simple.

But we have gotten so far away from what God intended us to do. But once you know the truth, you will be set free. And that's why I say it's simple, because it's natural laws. It's getting your body cleaned up and feeding it the right fuel that is required by the body, not stuff that man makes up these theories and diets that people are buying into. And it's harming us, and it's causing people to maybe have
some results that they wanted like weight loss, but then following that diet the misinformation then they either start to gain weight or they have low energy or they start to have other symptoms and they go wait a minute now I don't know what to do and people are confused but the truth is that health really is a simple process when you're following natural laws
and feeding your body the correct foods. Losing the extra weight, the 10 to 15 pounds, 20 pounds, 30 pounds, it will make a lifelong difference in your quality of life. So the difference is night and day in your quality of life and how you prevent dis-ease in your body illnesses. You don't have to worry. When you start to understand how to keep your body healthy and you start to see
my body's responding like this. I know what that means. I know what to do. So I wanted to show you a fat cell and a fat cell that expanded in what it's actually doing. So when fat cells are healthy, they're smaller, they're more calm and balanced, taking nutrition in, getting rid of the waste. They're efficient and they're healing quickly. They can repair quickly and they function properly, whether it's a thyroid cell, bone cell, muscle cell, whatever the cell is.
it is functioning properly. So what's happening to fat cells when they start to expand? On the left-hand side, you have a normal adipocyte, just like I said, nutrition and waste out. The obese fat tissue, if you notice all of the inflammation markers of an immune system, all being around the fat cells, the fat accumulation.

What is happening there is when a fat cell starts to get disorganized, it's not functioning very well, can't repair well, acidity around it. What happens is it says, alarm, alarm, I need help. And your immune system says, we're here. And neutrophils, they're your first responders. They come to that area. Your T cells, your fighters, the people that say, wait a minute, let's see who needs help first. And then you have your macrophages, your big attackers, the fighters, the cleanup crew.
They're all coming into this area of fat accumulation. So you almost have like a low grade immune response going on around areas of accumulated fat. We don't want that. We want a healthy on the left side. There's more alkalinity, more fluid, more healing, more repair. It makes for a healthier body. And wherever you have an excess of weight, you're going to have this low grade.
pro-inflammatory response going on, and that is responsible for those 10 consequences I just talked about. So understanding the truth about just being 10 pounds overweight, although not an emergency crisis, in time there's an accumulation and then you start having symptoms that you might not say, hey, wait a minute, that's the breakdown in my systems that happened.
nine, 10 years ago from this slow accumulation of weight. The other thing I wanted to mention is when I started learning about health, one of the biggest concepts that I never hear about today in health is the inner terrain. The inner terrain, when it is healthy, provides the cells with a healthy environment and the requirements. So that is a focus to understand health and natural laws. The inner terrain is right up there that they
should understand because it helps you to make good choices for your body because you know what and why you're doing things. And then also your emotional and mental state, which I won't get into now, but your mental and emotional state is before even your physical health because that is going on 24-7. It produces its own set of chemicals in the body. And when you're out of balance emotionally and mentally stressed, you have a different chemical soup in the body.

And that starts an inflammatory process. starts, it affects almost every system that I just talked about in its own way. And because it is 24-7. And my clients, the body's the last to know, which means your emotional and mental state's going on all the time, no symptoms, but there's a breakdown. There's premature aging and inflammation going on. And then it gets to the physical body.
the last to know. All of a sudden we see a physical symptom. So my point is emotional, mental, physical, all of these things working together in a healthy manner will give you quality of life, it will prevent illness, and it'll keep you from gaining weight unnecessarily.
and really living your best life. Yes, you can gain three or four or five pounds and then you lose it or gain a little bit of weight in the winter naturally by your foods that are available and not being as active. But at the same time, you you get into 10 pounds, then we start seeing, okay, we really want to bring it back to your ideal weight. So just a recap, 10 to 15 pounds affects lymphatic, hormones, sleep, inflammation, energy, blood sugar, your heart.
