Dr. Kimberly LeHew (00:02.479)
Hello, hello. I just want to say welcome. This is Dr. Kimberly LeHew Welcome to Timeless Health where real science meets biblical truth. Yes, we are talking about a hot topic, which I think every woman should hear this, this message. It is so powerful that you are never too late. You are not too old.
you can begin to reverse aging and you can start to get to a next level of health. Excellent health? Well, it depends. It depends on the person. I can't guarantee anything. But what I can say and what I'm going to talk about in this podcast is how the body is designed to restore and how you are really equipped to be healthy and victorious.
the whole days of your life. How many times do we hear people really die of old age anymore? Not too often, but it's possible to live healthy and vibrant and have a great quality of life until your last day that you go to be with the Lord. So yes, I mean, I hate to kind of say it like that, but it's true. We are, we are a product.
of how we live, how we think and our relationship with the Lord. And when we get those aligned with what he designed in the Bible, he tells us how to live. When we start to live this out, you will have an extraordinary change in your health. I've seen it, I've lived it, and I'm here to tell you all about it because I want that for you too. So you are not too old. No.
you are not. And I'm going to talk about this from the science perspective and from God's design for your body. And I'll even share some of the stories of some of my clients, my own story. And then I'll bring in whoever comes to mind that I've worked with. And what I'm bringing into you though is I want you to understand there is proof. This isn't just my theory or it's not something I just concocted. This is truth.
Dr. Kimberly LeHew (02:23.91)
And I love bringing truth to health because there's so much misinformation and I like bringing solid grounded foundational science that has been around a lot longer than we have way before the 1900s and I'm talking about science that actually got results before it started to be suppressed and altered. So let's dive in. So first I did want to talk about so you understand that it really
This is coming from a science grounded truth. Science actually shows that your body is never static. It's either, it's either degenerating or regenerating. And we can put more on the side in a positive way, constant renewing. can get to where we are more renewing.
than degenerating. Yes, cells have lifespans. Your skin cells, they're replaced every two to four weeks. Your gut lining every five to seven days. Your red blood cells every 120 days roughly. Even your bones, they feel permanent, but they're completely remodeled every 10 years. We have new bodies that are renewing and how they renew is really up to us. So
The cells you're walking around with today are not the same ones you had five years ago, not even a year ago. You have a new renewal of cells continuously on a daily basis. So when someone says, I'm too old to get healthy, I just go, no.
Because your body doesn't even keep the same cells long enough to agree with you on that thought God designed you with built-in reboot cells at every different level of biology and Really, that's not the whole story and I'm gonna bring even more science into it but your body as I like to when when someone starts working with me, I like the clarification in the beginning
Dr. Kimberly LeHew (04:43.074)
that God designed your body to heal itself. We know this. We know when we get a cut, we're not doing much. And then we look down a week later and what has happened? The cut has mended itself. It goes through a process of cleaning up, bringing in the army to clean it up and kill anything that shouldn't be there. There's some inflammation, there's redness.
There's maybe a little bit later some of the waste byproducts from the cells, that yellow, pussy kind of yellow hard crustiness that can be around a cut or even on your face acne. Well, you'll see that yellowy part, but that's all part of the process of the body healing itself. We know when we have a fever, the body is trying to heal itself. We know when we have mucus.
the body is cleansing itself. So we have, we have evidence of that. But sometimes I think when it comes to aging, because there's so much out there about the programming that we get is what I'm heading toward is like the advertising of seeing a woman in pain and she's her gray hair and she's hunched over and then she takes this drug and she's on the beach and she's walking and she's smiling.
And that's just this programming of, okay, you're aging, take this drug and now you're going to feel better. And I want to remove you from that, that thinking. And I'll get into a little bit of my, myself and how I go about this. But the truth is your body is in a rejuvenation state, or at least it can be. If you're watching programming like that, your more tendency is to think of
you are degenerating. And, and we kind of have just lost the, the realization of, of the body being able to heal and be restored. And even when we're looking at chronic conditions of illness and serious diseases, so to speak, we have
Dr. Kimberly LeHew (07:04.802)
just handed over the responsibility of our health to people, to doctors, right? And what we're learning is, wow, I mean, we have some misinformation out there. We have some withholding of the truth and maybe even some lies to a degree, right? And so I believe with all my heart that the more you become your own self, your own health advocate,
you're learning about your body and you're discovering how this, this science and the body and the mind and the heart all work together. That is going to propel you into becoming healthier. You are going to start to turn back the clock because your cells are responding to this new you. And I'm going to get into the science about that just as much, in just a minute, but
But man, God knew what he was doing when he created our immune system, our digestive system, our brain, our heart. It does more than what we think it's doing. There is a communication system that is so vast and underrated that a lot of it we don't even fully understand in our bodies going on 24 seven. And
And if we know how to support that, that which we don't understand, but we see evidence of, meaning we are living in a way that we're not looking at ourselves as cars, as parts that we remove and replace, but looking at our body as this whole intricate system constantly communicating with, with the knowledge of how to care for the body. That is when health
becomes more available. It becomes more the given. It becomes more predictable because we're looking at God's design as a whole. We're respecting that and living in a way that helps his design work as he designed it to. We are spiritual first and as believers our spirit will live for eternity, right? That's the spiritual truth.
Dr. Kimberly LeHew (09:26.094)
Psalm 103 says, who satisfies you with good things, he renews your youth like the eagles. That's not just a poetic line. designed your body with renewal in mind. He didn't design you to break down and tear down and be old and miserable, live with chronic illness and live in a home that somebody has to care for you and you don't have your wits about you and you're losing your ability to
think and care for yourself. He designed you to heal and repair and be restored. And this is just such a beautiful Psalm that reminds us that our bodies heal and we can be renewed. He goes on in that Psalm to say that healing comes from forgiveness as well. We know that the Lord is responsible for our bodies and and he is the healer of all. Matter of fact, he's called Jehovah-Rolphi.
the Lord your healer. With God, there's no such thing as an incurable disease. And I bring that up to say that with the design of our bodies, with the Lord as our healer, with understanding real science, and for me, that means the inner terrain, that's how I help people get healthy. We start there, that inner terrain is cared for, it's essential to be physically healthy. And we're making better decisions about how we take care of ourselves and what we eat and our lifestyles.
With all of that said 50, 60, 70, 80 years old, 90 years old, you can be renewed to a better state of health that you feel great when you wake up, you get out of bed and you're moving across the floor with stability, with strength and not with aches and pains and hunched over.
I also think that many take our bodies for granted until we start seeing those signs of aging. know when I turned 40, my idea of speaking health health turned to a little bit of way is more like 45 anti-aging. Like I started to see a little bit of, you know, in my face and, there a little wrinkle here and some gray hairs here, but it
Dr. Kimberly LeHew (11:48.974)
I had to really get a hold of how I was perceiving myself. And I knew, I knew, I knew, I knew with the books that I have that I continuously read and reiterate the signs behind, the body can stay more youthful than we thought. And so when we start eating right and we start moving our bodies correctly and not...
working them into a frenzy of strenuous exercise because we think we need six days of 90 hour 90x type workouts. We're not stressing and breaking our bodies down, but we are moving carefully and responsibly and we're recalibrating ourselves electrically. Yes, that's very much a real thing. Grounding is a real thing.
When we're taking these things into account, our bodies can start to renew and we can start to really age backwards and feel healthy. You are not too late. We can change this. And you know what? You can start today. You're not too late. I promise. And let's, let's dive into the proof. So bringing in the real science and God, how can we partner both of these? How can we walk this out? Because let's be real. Age does, age brings challenges, but
Challenges are only as big as we begin to create them. We can minimize them. We knew this. God knew this was coming. He knew that our processed foods that are so convenient would be far from healthy. He knew that there would be harmful toxins in the air and the water and a lot of the foods and the agriculture. He knew that our endocrine systems were going to take a hit from all of these outside toxins. He knew.
that they were going to try and weaken our defenses. But do not fear because He gave us authority, right? As believers in Christ, we have authority to be fruitful and multiply, to take dominion over the earth. We have access to the kingdom authority. We can bind and restrain things on earth and we can release them in heaven. We can stop fear.
Dr. Kimberly LeHew (14:05.461)
We can stop sickness and we can stop the deception in Jesus name. Yes, we can. Jesus died and gave us authority. He gave us authority to cast out unclean spirits, to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the powers of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Praise God. He gave us authority.
Romans 8 11 says the spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you. Thank you. Holy spirit and he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies You see we have so much more power than we think we just keep looking outside of ourselves for answers for we we look at the mirror
to tell us we're looking at media and what people are saying, and we are trusting people that do not have the correct answers. It just reminds me of being on the tennis court and we're like coming in and taking a little water break, going back out to the court, and some women saying, I'm so old, know, I'm just, and they just kind of brush it off as something that is so common and lighthearted.
but it is not the truth and every cell in your body is listening to you say that you are so old and that's why you're not moving as well. And to me, I just want to say, no, you can move better. You can start to reverse that. We have to wake up to the power that is within us and start start living differently.
power that raised Christ from the dead in you. you sit with that for a moment and listen to some pastors that talk about altar calls where they bring them up and they start laying on of hands and start casting out either demons or they are laying hands on them commanding and demanding that the disease or the condition leave their bodies. They rebuke it.
Dr. Kimberly LeHew (16:23.349)
and they call in health to the cells and people instantly get health spontaneous healing. happens. Blind eyes open, deaf ears open. Yes, this is, this isn't even like a once in a lifetime thing. This is a common thing amongst some traveling pastor.
healing events and it happens, which tells us that God has a big play in our health. But it's not just one or the other. Science and the Bible do agree on restoration. So here are a few ways that we can partner with God in health. So let's walk through some of these and you can start to apply some of these in your life. Number one, he gave, he made us a steward.
over our bodies. Now, taken, taken consideration, his, our bodies is God's. He owns our bodies, but we are the steward of it. We are the caretaker. So what we eat, what we think, what we speak, what we are doing with our lives matters. And, and it matters to ourselves. Real foods help ourselves either, like I said, regenerate or degenerate.
movement. How are we moving on a daily basis? What are we speaking to ourselves in our heads about ourselves? We have the capacity to care for our bodies in such a way that we are we are igniting healing instead of complaining or thinking that we're too old. I had a client who she was 61 and she told me she hadn't had energy for years. Her digestion was a mess.
And she said, I think it's just age. And she said that because she said everyone around her has the same issues. But I am telling you, once we cleaned up her system, we started to strengthen her digestive system. She started to eat right. She was fueling her body with fruits and vegetables and hydrated properly. Her digestion improved and her energy went.
Dr. Kimberly LeHew (18:40.617)
way higher. I was going to say skyrocketed, but maybe that's a little overstatement. But she did have a lot more energy. Her mobility came back. She wasn't as achy. And she said, I feel like I'm living in a young body. That's renewal at work. That is what is possible. That's the physical side. I think there's so much more even available when we start speaking and saying what God has said about our bodies. We can also, number two, move the body. don't
You don't have to run a marathon, but walking every day. And I will tell you that movement mobility training is the next best thing for your body. It's not about just flexible passive stretching. It is mobility training. It will take those years off the physical body. Strength training. We have to put some stress on our bones and strengthen our muscles, especially as women over 50.
When we start strengthening, we start lifting, lifting weights. tells ourselves we're active, we're alive, we're rebuilding, we are strong and mentally and emotionally, it builds a strength within you as well. So we need to move every day. Number three, choosing peace over stress. Science shows that stress and hormone imbalance causes destruction of the systems. God says in Philippians four,
Do not be anxious about anything and the peace of God will guard your heart and your mind. We need this, especially in today's time, especially as if you're a woman, an entrepreneur, you have stress come about you and the sooner that you can somewhat identify where your mind is going down the path, picture a path and it's labeled stress, the stressful path.
And when you feel yourself stepping foot on that path, you have to be ready to combat that with words and with action. Words. I rebuke you, stress. I will walk in peace. I will walk in peace with the Holy Holy Spirit. I will walk in peace with Jesus right here with me. And you, you, you make yourself.
Dr. Kimberly LeHew (21:02.505)
start to change those stressful thoughts and you may say, but this is reality. This is stressful. It's a perspective that you, that it is stressful and, whether it's, it's not going to evaporate when you say a certain thing, the actual challenge that you may be facing, but what will happen is your perspective will change on the stress path and you'll move over to the path of
rejuvenation. And when you have that challenge on the path of rejuvenation and you are thinking more peacefully and more calmly, your brain works better to tackle those problems. You see the problem in a different light where not only are you maybe encouraging the people around you that may be working on the project with you or someone you're selling.
you're selling the product to or whatever the environment is in the business environment, you're going to be different when you have a peaceful heart, when you're calm and you have a more positive perspective on what you're dealing with. So whether it is the worst of the worst situation or on the stress path, you're going to handle that differently and it's going to have a different outcome or you're on the rejuvenation path.
where you have a different perspective on it, same challenge, different perspective that you're going to get through it. This challenge is strengthening you. This challenge is for you. What can you learn from this? You're going to come out the other side better. It's that perspective change to your choosing peace over the stress. There is a reason they said stress is a silent killer.
It's because it goes much deeper than cardiovascular. It's every cell starts aging prematurely. So stress must be managed if you're going to be healthy. And we can do that by identifying it quickly and changing our minds about it, which leads me to number four, which is kind of the same, a mindset shift, not saying I'm too old. We need to start seeing in our mind and holding in our hearts an image.
Dr. Kimberly LeHew (23:21.767)
of ourselves being healthy and we have to start identifying ourselves as a more youthful, victorious, healthy person. And you may say, but I'm not, I have chronic arthritis, I have migraines, I have foot issues that I've had for the last 10 years. Well, you know what? You start thinking healing, you start declaring healing over yourself.
you start to eat differently. You start some proactive stretching of movement therapy on your feet and then your legs. You start doing these proactive things for the physical, but you take a hold of your heart as well and you start saying things and declaring different perspective based on scripture.
So what I wanted to say real here and I had a note to say that.
My how how I see myself and think of myself is young. I don't ever say, oh, Kimberly, you're 57. You're approaching 60. I don't ever really think about that. What I always see myself is is the same as the same 30 year old, 20 year old. Really? I feel 20. But there was a time when for a year and a half, I went keto diet.
I did it because in the very beginning I was having my blood sugar was low and this is this is a whole history so this isn't something that just came about but nonetheless I started the keto and it it helped me work for about two months I felt great things started to change because my body was was recalibrated to that I had I had solved the the blood sugar issue
Dr. Kimberly LeHew (25:20.951)
but I continued on a keto diet, which is a higher protein, higher fat diet. I was eating super clean. I I wasn't eating cheese or bacon. I may have a little bit of feta cheese, but my diet was still very much fruits and vegetables to an extent, but I was watching how many carbs I was eating and I was eating more fat and protein than I'd ever eaten. And the protein I was eating was just seafood. I wasn't even eating steak or any of those things. So was a very clean keto diet. Year and a half in.
I'm starting to get out of bed and I am stiff. I am feeling achy. When I go to play tennis, I am achy when I get off the court. And that was something new. And I was 51 and I thought, wow, is this getting old? Is this what old feels like? I started to question it. And I got out of bed one morning after about a year and a half of that. And God directly spoke to me, like in my heart, like you wouldn't believe. I got up and I remember exactly where I was as I was walking around the bed.
He said, return to my diet. And it wasn't even return to his diet. That's not how he talked to me. It was more like his foods, what I had been eating most of my life. And I did that day, I went back to eating more raw fruits and vegetables, the heck with carbs and proteins and fat counting, macro counting. I ate fats and proteins accordingly to a minimal amount of what I knew to eat.
And I wasn't really counting. It was just how I normally eat. And you know, within less than a month, I had no aches and pains when I got out of bed. It was that quick. The inflammation was subsiding on a daily basis. That's what high proteins and fats do. They increase inflammation. So be very careful. If you're in the keto diet, start doing your research on high protein and high fat diets and what they're doing to you at a cellular level.
So I started to definitely feel like myself again. So here I am, 57, and I feel much younger than I did at that 51 age when I was doing that. And I feel more like I'm 20. So diet is definitely key in inflammation and how you're feeling as far as achy stiffness and in the repercussions of being inflamed at a cellular level. Okay, going on.
Dr. Kimberly LeHew (27:48.501)
number four, I love this start speaking when I started to declare and prophesy over myself. It brings about it's like, it's like somebody's giving you a spiked punch. It's like, yay. Like it's, it's really like a we, it's a V it's a great feeling to start speaking life over yourself and feeling instantly better. God is renewing me.
Proverbs says reminds us that life and death. Proverbs reminds us that life and death are in the power of the tongue. So what is the science behind that? Do words really matter? Okay, so this is called the neuroscience of language. Yes, words literally change your brain pathways. Dr. Andrew Newberg, a neuroscientist showed that positive words like love and peace, they actually strengthen the brain's frontal lobe.
And that is linked to your logical thinking, your problem solving. So do you think as an entrepreneur, when you're handling the stresses of being an entrepreneur and you're wearing many hats that you need your brain about you, you start speaking and declaring over yourself, I am healthy. My brain is firing. I am getting ideas. Thank you, Lord. This is linked to how well your brain is performing and problem solving.
And then you get into negative words like, I hate this. I don't like this project. I fear this client or this vendor or this whatever. You're trigger triggering the amygdala, which is a part of the brain that releases stress hormones like cortisol. So cortisol is meant for fight or flight, but you have cortisol in your body for too long. You are increasing inflammation.
So what you want to do is start speaking life and good things over your health. This is helping you age backwards. Ephesians 429 says, let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification that it may impart grace to the hearers. Yes, words impart grace. They literally strengthen and build up
Dr. Kimberly LeHew (30:08.543)
the other person and yourself. So we need to be very mindful of how we're seeing what we're doing and speaking, speaking good over it and perceiving it in a way that we can handle this. This is for our good. God makes things that could be evil or bad for our highest good.
And then we have the placebo and the nacebo effect, right? The placebo pills, it gets results. That's why it's still a thing because we see positive results because it triggers positive beliefs in your brain. And then that puts out chemicals that create the healing. But at the same token, the nacebo those are negative words and that creates different chemicals. So that
creates a different reality in your body. So how your thinking is triggering these chemicals. So what are you triggering? you are you triggering the chemicals to rebuild or are you triggering the chemicals that are going to degenerate your body? And then we have epigenetics by Dr. Bruce Lipton where thoughts and emotions and words, they they start to turn on or off genes. It's called epigenetics.
And we know that people think genetics is set in stone, but we are actually turning them on and off by our thoughts and our words. So if you're saying, I'm too old, what genes are you signaling to your body that your cells are hearing? We're too old. What is going on when you're saying that? What's going on in your bones, in your immune system? So be very mindful of those words.
And then this is one of my, when I started studying cellular quantum physics, that's how I discovered HeartMath Institute in California. And I started to understand that they were doing studies that showed when you have this heart monitor on and you had certain emotions and this heart monitor would be triggered and these words shifted your heart rhythms. So they have what they call
Dr. Kimberly LeHew (32:28.577)
coherent rhythms and those are nice flowing waves coming from your words that's created in the heart and it affects your immune system, it affects your energy, it affects your brain. So as entrepreneurs, as businesswomen, as multitasking, the way that we are perceiving and talking to ourselves is how we're feeling in our hearts.
And that is the beauty of scripture because if we're filling scripture into our heart, we are going to be more stable. We are going to have, not the spirit of fear. We're going to have the spirit of power and the spirit of love and the spirit of a sound mind come over us that we will click into that. And that will start to change our health. James three, six says the tongue defiles the whole body.
So neuroscience shows that destructive words literally set the body on fire through stress hormones and inflammation. So I hope what you're gathering from all of this is that you can reverse aging. You are not too old. I don't care how old you are. Age is a number, but it is not the reality going on in your body. So if you are feeling older or you're getting ready to have a birthday,
Or it's your birthday today. Say, say this on your birthday. I declare every cell in my body is renewed and made young every cell. I love you. I appreciate you. And if it's God's will, I am restored to health. am rising up. My health is improving every second of today. Happy birthday to me. And this day I will rejoice. You start.
talking like this to yourself so your cells can hear the truth of what God said and what is possible for you. So what I think one of the biggest changes that you can make starting today is making shifts in your body at a cellular level. And it's one that starts in the heart and in the mind and what you're saying and speaking over yourself. For everything you do flows from the heart. That's Proverbs 4.23. I love that saying. I say it a lot because I talk about the heart in my program.
Dr. Kimberly LeHew (34:50.869)
where the heart is mentioned in the Bible over 333 133 times. Yes, the heart, because everything flows from it. Every single thought and belief and perception is coming from your heart. And when you're renewing it with the Bible, with the words of God every day, you better believe you're going to have the strongest, best heart to, to go through life with. So yes, there's a science side and a spiritual side, but both say the same thing.
You are never too old to improve by great measure and you are not too old to experience a more youthful body, a kind, loving heart to walk as Jesus walked and lived. You can be healthier and you can be more victorious. I hope you get that today. So the next time those little thoughts sneak in, want you to say, I want you to declare, I want you to have a declaration that you have memorized.
one sentence that you can speak over yourself and speak it with a smile. Speak it with conviction so your cells believe you and you're not just like saying affirmations that you don't believe. You are really declaring the word of God and God is a God who cannot lie. His words do not come back void. You know when you are speaking, you are changing yourself at a cellular level, right?
So let's just recap this real quickly. Your cells are constantly renewing or degenerating and you are choosing to renew your cells every day right now, right? You are declaring that. Your cells are listening to every thought and yes, you can have a bad thought, but just counteract it and you're going to change the chemicals. It takes just a moment for these chemicals to be created and let out, but you have control over that.
So you decide what chemicals are floating around in your body by what you're thinking and saying and believing. God designed your body for restoration and age is just a number. You can start to restore your health back.
Dr. Kimberly LeHew (37:01.011)
Again, science reveals that your words impact your cells. So definitely have, have know that the, the, you can, know, life and death are in the power of the tongue and you have a responsibility to control your tongue and decide what comes out of your mouth. The other thing is have a lifestyle that supports cellular health. Keep your heart healthy, be led by the Holy Spirit.
and make daily time to continue a deep relationship with the Lord. Faith is continuously renewed by being in your Bible. Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God. You have to be in there developing that relationship. He wants to hear from you. He wants to hear what you desire, what you're appreciative of. Give thanks to him.
It's your daily renewal of your body and mind is to spend time with him. You are not too old. Matter of fact, you are right on time. And I believe you are meant to hear this message. So please use the power God gave you. You have authority, declare it with your mouth. And remember that Jesus himself said, words carry eternal weight. They align us with the truth or that can align you with lies. You getting old is a lie.
That's a lie from the enemy and you just have to change that. So you can take action by living a lifestyle that renews your cells. And as I say from my perspective and how I help people is to heal that inner terrain, get it healed and healthy. This comes from the early healers and Antoine Bechamp who came up with you can only be as healthy as the inner terrain. We are not body parts.
We are a whole system. And when that inner terrain, the digestion, the lymphatic, the metabolic waste is removed, your elimination systems are healthy. That is when you can start to really sustain health. It's not just diet and exercise. We have to get foundational and get that strong. And secondly, and most importantly, is your heart and your mind and what you're speaking, being right with God, allowing the Holy Spirit to
Dr. Kimberly LeHew (39:20.629)
to guide you every day. That relationship with Jesus is your Lord and developing that relationship that he's in your heart and you can hear the Holy Spirit because you're open to hearing it. You're looking and expecting to hear from the Holy Spirit. So your body can be renewed. You've got to watch what you're eating, live that lifestyle, get that terrain healed and truly take command with your authority over your body with God's Word.
So I hope this was helpful. I just want to say thanks for joining me. I hope this was encouraging. Share this episode with a friend who might need to hear it. Maybe someone's having a birthday today, they're feeling like, I'm older. You send them this and let them be renewed by the word of God and that the science is telling us that we can renew our bodies. And if you have questions, I have a form that you can fill out. You can ask your question.
You can check out Healthy and Victorious, my six month transformation program. I do not talk anybody into this program. It's something that requires a commitment and people who really want to get healthy and take it seriously and really move the needle in six months and have a full transformation that then that could be for you. You can check that out below. There's a form you can fill out to see if it's a good fit. So I just want to say thank you so much for joining me here. Please.
Leave a review here on the podcast. I hope you enjoyed this and I hope you have a very blessed day. Until next time, bye for now.
