Dr. Kimberly LeHew (00:01.342)
Okay, so losing belly fat in God's way. Is it unconventional right now? Yes. Do you get results? Absolutely. Is it sustainable? Absolutely. I've been living this way, like I said, for 30 years or more. Actually, I won't tell my story. I will save that for a different video. But I started at the early age of 14 and I started studying natural healers. And this is how I learned to live and actually
easily maintain my weight and not suffer through any of the health conditions that many women over 40 start experiencing with the endocrine system. Menopause is a stage in life that you should just go through. It's another stage. It has been looked at as a horrible
stage in your life and it doesn't have to be that way. And I'm here to tell you that the beautiful thing about the body is it is designed to heal and it is designed to begin to rejuvenate. And I don't say that lightly like, oh, you're just going to rejuvenate and look 20 again. What happens is when you start to live right in your cells become healthier, you automatically begin to reverse as much as you can of that.
premature aging that you've been experiencing and what comes along with that is belly fat. That is how the body is designed. Yes, fat is a protection mechanism around organs. It accumulates in different ways. Genetics can lead it that way, but belly fat is just a result of how we are living and we're about to dive into how to get out of that God's way. I also want to talk about two
issues, some of the biggest issues I find with women that come in and they, that's one of their top complaints. So what this is and what it isn't, what I'm not going to do is hand you a diet and say, here's your menu, follow this. This is your workout. That's not what I do. I teach people how to fish. don't give you a fish. Otherwise you're going to keep relying on someone to give you a menu and
Dr. Kimberly LeHew (02:21.79)
And it's one thing to be accountable and to be in a group that keeps you on track, but it's another that has to help you make decisions of everyday eating. I want you to be able to go into a restaurant and know exactly what to eat. I want you to know that you can go to a Christmas party or a birthday party and you don't have to worry. I want people to be free from dieting and I really want you to get to that level of health that God has in store for you.
What this is not is a menu plan, go work out, here's your four things to do every day. I want to take the rigidity out of it. And so what this is, it's a way to live with predictable results and something you can sustain because it's personal to you. You're doing the deciding, but you're following natural laws and that is how you get to health. So.
What I wanted to talk about are first, the two most common reasons women over 50 are having a hard time with belly fat. And when I start to go into these, please, please, please don't go, my God, all right, and just delete or don't listen. Because if you truly listen to what I'm having to say, it will ring true for you. It has been true for every single person that comes in that has any problem with weight or belly fat.
or this, this, let's just get to it. I'll just get right to it. It's your identity. It is how you see yourself. I went through this myself. This is why I can speak to this so confidently is because I saw myself, I was a little chubby at like 12, 13, 14, and 14 is when I made my big change, but I was, I'll go on to the next common problem.
because I see that so well. But how I saw myself even to make a long story short, because this is part of the story that I have to tell is I developed because of my obsession with diet and food and nutrition and wanting to truly be and look my best. I wasn't the typical anorexic that was completely starving myself.
Dr. Kimberly LeHew (04:44.544)
I was eating in a way that was really below the calories that I needed. And then was working out a lot. Jane Fonda had just come on the scene. I was excited. I was gonna be there every day, if not twice, sometimes three. I know that was part of it, a day. But I loved it. I loved it because I felt good. But there was a downside to it. Nonetheless, as I came out of that and even out of the eating disorder,
which was around 21, 22 years old. still, although my mind felt better about me, I wasn't obsessed with food. It was becoming more natural and then chiropractic just solidified exactly how the body works. So I didn't have to rigidly, I could physically get myself healthy and there wasn't a problem, but I still had feelings about
my legs or about my body. And it wasn't until I consciously decided, I am not that, I am this. And then when I say, I am not that, I am not the girl who's going to have fat legs the rest of her life, even though I'm at my ideal weight. I'm not the girl who's going to, know, that's not me. And I started to think, I started, what I started to do is start to appreciate my legs. And I started to, no matter how I felt,
I was going to appreciate what I had. And then as I brought Christ back into my life, I was raised Christian, went new age for quite some time, 18 years, horrible. But, that's on the other video. But when I came back to Christ and I began to understand who I was, that is what solidified everything.
And that makes you so unshakable in your identity and how you see yourself. Even though at this time I had already gotten over the leg thing and my identity was, I felt confident, but there was still some wavering in other areas of my life. So when I brought Christ in and I started to understand who God made me to be, that is a game changer for everything, not just your weight.
Dr. Kimberly LeHew (07:06.326)
I'm talking about your life, any, anything that keeps you stuck, anything that keeps you from being all that you can be. When you open the Bible and you start learning about who you are in Christ, you become this person that, well, I'm to get into the scripture and we're going to learn who you are because I'm about to tell you who you are. Yes, you are an amazing woman and don't let a mirror.
tell you anything different. Don't let the scale. Don't let the size of your pants. Don't let anything change how you feel about yourself. And I know you're still thinking, well, why I got all this stuff. It doesn't happen overnight. And this is not to say, and I have to bring this up, that some of the marketing right now with, with let's say athletic wear, promoting obesity and
It's not that the identity changes. That woman is still amazing and beautiful. That's not the problem. It's a health problem. That's where I see the problem. The message is you can be unhealthy, but someone who is overweight will, will without doubt come against cardiovascular, blood sugar, neurological, gut health, all of those things.
are in the works because that's just what's happening when you have a higher percentage of fat over your body. It's not healthy. I regressed by that and I'm sorry, but there is a distinction there and it's not who you are. You're still loving. I don't care if you're the perfect weight. I don't care if you're obese. I don't care if you're on the super, super thin side.
Your identity never changes in Christ. You are amazing and beautiful. You have to get that in your heart because everything in your heart decides what you're doing and who you're being and how your life is unfolding. So Psalms 139, 14 says, I will praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Marvelous are your works and that my soul knows very well. You feel wonderfully made.
Dr. Kimberly LeHew (09:25.827)
down to the bone in your heart of hearts, in your soul, you feel it. That is very different than just waking up and saying, I'm confident, I'm confident, I'm confident. And you're like saying affirmations and incantations and jumping up and down. No, this is about real change down in your heart, in your soul. You're not random or ordinary. God made you amazing. You have to get this.
This is so important and this goes beyond belly fat. This is touching every area of your life. But when your identity is, I've always been overweight, this is how my family looks at my mom's side of the family. I've tried every diet. My hormones are normal and my labs are normal. I have to live this way. No, no, no, that is not true. Your body is designed.
to yes, you will gain a little bit more fat and a little more body weight than you were when you're 20 or 30. But let me tell you, even when I got lower in weight from what the weight I am now, when you're older, it looks different. It almost to me, I didn't like it because it almost made it because you don't have the fat volume in certain areas like your face and.
And you do look different in weight comparably with your age. But I am telling you at 57, I feel 20 and I look at age different and my body weight hasn't really shifted, there is it's older skin, it's older. It's an older body. I can't return it back to 20, but I feel 20 when I get out of bed.
and I know I'm looking the best I can look, so I'm good. I'm good and grateful. And I feel marvelous in my body. And that's what I want you to grab from this scripture that can start to change your heart about you so you aren't looking at the scale for who you are. You're getting your identity in Christ. Ephesians 2 10 says, for we are his workmanship.
Dr. Kimberly LeHew (11:47.086)
created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we shall walk in them. Meaning, you are so wonderfully made and He loves you so much, you're so personal to Him, that He prepared you to do the works that you're going to do in this life with your gifts, your body, and it's time that we start to honor that.
You are a masterpiece workmanship created. He knows everything about you, every hair on your head. And to discount it and feel like, you know, this belly fat is here forever. No, he designed the body as a self-healing organism to not premature age at 50 and 60 and 70 and 80 years old.
90, you get a little older, 100, 110. But I want for you to live a quality of life. But most importantly, I want on the inside of you to have a peace and joy about you because you know who you are in Christ. That affects everything. So when you're choosing your food from a place of strength and you love yourself, not in a prideful, boastful way,
but that you are God's creation. That is a different confidence. You still love the woman next to you that you could have, not having this identity, been comparing yourself to her and feeling less than because she's smaller than you. You just honor her as you honor yourself. And there's that you stop that comparison. The word workmanship, poima, Greek, I totally don't know if that was right, literally means
masterpiece, poem, or work of art. You are His work of art. You were handcrafted by God with purpose and beauty. And you have to start getting that in your mind, in your heart, to know who you are in Christ. Identity is huge. As long as someone keeps seeing themselves, I'm great because I lost the weight. not so good. Guilty, shame, angry at yourself because you gained the weight then. And you're on this roller coaster guided by
Dr. Kimberly LeHew (14:09.934)
close in the scale by the external world. We want your, I want your, your, your worth, your identity to come from Christ. And that doesn't change. It's always there within your heart. So hope that sinks in. I, I love this part because it's a game changer in every area of your life. The second thing is action in context of which you care for your body.
And what I mean by this is that having, I have to bring in the eating disorder because this is where I, I lived it and then I came out of it. And then as I started coaching women with, with self image and then got into my position as a doctor and helping them heal their bodies, they would talk about their like self deprecating thought thoughts. They had.
a language of self-talk that it's that good and bad. And I'm worthy when I'm this and I'm not so worthy when I'm that. And I have confidence now, but I have shame now. You know, it's like this, it's this constant battle and I want to take you off that roller coaster. want to, I want to put you on the fast track that of just predictable, sustainable life that you're not wavering back and forth.
So when, I were, I should say it because I still notice it, say, this happens a lot, go to a party, go to a place where there's lots of women, I can pick out women that have a rigidity about them with food and with working out and with self care. There is a lack of peace and joy and freedom, really.
because it's how they're doing something. And I know you know this. When someone walks in the room, especially someone you know, you know what kind of day they have kind of, you know where they're at kind of emotionally and mentally. And let's say you don't know someone very well. When you walk in a room, you're either getting the feeling or the vibe that it's a place that you can just relax and smile and just feel good or
Dr. Kimberly LeHew (16:35.328)
Everybody's reserved and it's kind of closed off by how their body position is and when they speak they have a different tone and they have because they're coming from a different heart their intentions different and so every action they take and every thing that they're saying comes from a different place This is playing on the last part of the identity but
It's with which you do things. If you're eating a big salad with freedom in your heart or you're eating a big salad because you know you have to and you've been doing it for a week and you feel good, yay, I'm confident because I've got this salad in front of me for the seventh day. And there's a part of you that is not enjoying it. You feel deprived. You are doing it for this specific goal, not for the bigger, greater good of
your God's creation and you love yourself and you want to be healthy and all these things. And when I say love yourself, that's different than the new age that is we're on the self-love movement. I was on that and that is not how you want to be. It's not me, me, me. It is this is God's creation and I am grateful and I'm going to serve my purpose with joy and you can still.
love what God created in you, but it's a different context in your brain and in your heart of how you do things that makes a big difference because it's either stealing your joy or it's giving you massive joy. Two different things in the heart as you start to diet, workout, do all the things that we want to do, but it is in the context and how you do it, what's in your heart when you're doing it.
So identity and who you are in Christ and who you are as a person and how beautiful and wonderful you are despite what your body looks like. And then action and context. How are you living life? Are you living with joy and freedom and you know what to do? You know yourself, you know your body and you feel good about it, confidence in that or
Dr. Kimberly LeHew (18:49.198)
You're chasing the symptoms. You're waiting for the lab work. You're looking at the scale. You're hoping when you go in the closet that these jeans that you just bought two weeks ago still fit. You're going on vacation. Oh, am going to come back 10 pounds heavier? All of that goes away when you start to do this God's way. And that is what we're going to get into. But one scripture that I want you to hear is 1 Corinthians 6, 19, 20.
Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own, for you were bought at a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. This is God's body. And that's what I was trying to say. Caring for your body is an act of worship because it's His body. Just like everything's His, your yard is His.
Your money is his. Everything is his. He's our resource provider. When you start thinking and looking and acting like that and glorifying him in everything we do when we sit down to eat and we're blessing our food and praising God for that, that is a different chemical makeup going on in your body to help you digest your food than if you're coming from, I'm on my seventh day, I'm eating a salad. I know the scale's gonna look good tomorrow.
yeah, hi Susie, blah, blah, blah, It's different. You are different on the inside and I want you to have ease and peace and this gentle freedom about you that is naturally you and your gifts and who you are in your heart. You're radiating light. Jesus is shining bright through you because of who you are and your identity. So diet, workout, self care, all those things I just talked about.
It is the actions you're taking, but the context that you're coming from when you're doing it that makes a big difference. So God's perfect plan takes care of belly fat, takes care of the excess weight. So the first thing is nourish with God's food. You cannot go wrong with God's food. There's no more calorie counting. There's no more macro counting. There's no more worry. There's no more stress when you're eating his food. And there are.
Dr. Kimberly LeHew (21:10.808)
thousands if not thousands of recipes with God's food. It is not I'm going to eat five pieces of lettuce and four carrots and three tomatoes and no there is a like I said I've been doing this for so long. I started in 1982 with eating this way and I'm telling you from then until now the it's like my gosh like though though the heavens opened and
everything just, my gosh, the amount of choices we have, the companies that are coming out with, let's just say mayonnaise, for instance, vegan mayonnaise, mayonnaise that is made with free range eggs, mayonnaise that's made with olive oil. There's multiple different companies producing these products as opposed to, you know,
Hellman's mayonnaise and Miracle Whip and a diet mayonnaise back when I started. And the diet stuff, as you know, probably that the diet stuff had chemicals in it. So it wasn't healthy. I can't tell you how many diet cokes I had when I was in high school. My brain felt it. I didn't feel that great. The caffeine got me feeling kind of good, right?
But now knowing what I was doing to my body and my brain, it's, but the body so brilliantly designed by God can put that in reverse. Did I reverse all the damage? I don't know. I don't have a marker. All I know is that for the last 35 years, I've been very cognizant of what I put in my body. I make sure my, well, we're gonna get to that.
Or I get to God's design because when I started living it, I don't have those brain things that I used to get when I would drink diet coke. my gosh. yeah, that God's food is, is beyond anything that we could ever mimic from a lab. And I know when I had my son and I was having a, I had him at home, home birth, but I was nursing and it was
Dr. Kimberly LeHew (23:32.792)
hard and things the nursing wasn't going so well. And so I had I hired a lactation specialist and she helped me through that. But everybody before I hired her kept saying they have formula. They you know, you'll be fine. Kids don't die on that. And I get that. And I'm not shaming anybody that went that route or is going that route at all. But I will say is a formula is not breast milk.
by any shape of imagination. And I knew that because through chiropractic school, I had specialized in pediatrics. there was not a choice for me. So I mustered through the two weeks of absolute pain and crying and all that, but I got to the other side, it was nursing. But anyways, God's food cannot be made. You cannot say, need...
The red phytonutrients from a tomato, that lycopene, I know what it does. I'm going to go get some at the health food store. That is not the same as eating a tomato because the tomato has all the synergists. God has a design that you cannot reproduce because man doesn't even know all the things in it. He thinks he knows a lot of the makeup of the tomato, but do you have the actual energy of the tomato? You don't.
because live food creates a completely different experience in the body when you're eating live foods. That's a transfer of energy. That's why you feel better. God's food is the key to your body thriving. And like I said, people worry that they're going to be eating a salad the rest of their life three times a day. There's so much more to that. This is what I know, but what my
Clients are now asking like tell us more about that. We want more recipes things like that and I'm directing and probably we'll have to come up with a cookbook for or a food book like recipe book as well as getting out for my clients because you know, they're new to this but I'm telling you I can give you seven websites and you'll have so many recipes that fall in this God's food category that you you'll be
Dr. Kimberly LeHew (25:52.416)
amazed and overwhelmed with how many choices you have. So Genesis 1 29 right from the beginning and God said, see, I have given you every herb that yields seed, which is on the face of the earth and every tree whose free fruit yields seeds to you. It shall be for food. You know what? When it has a seed, it can reproduce and when it can reproduce, you don't have to worry about your food. Now,
I know we're entering in times where things are a little not so easy predictable of what God intended for us. We'll have to make adjustments there. But the point is the actual food has seeds for a reason. Number one, it's live, it's energized, it's reproducing. You can keep being sustained from here on out because you have food with seeds.
God's original design for food was life-giving and pure, meant to nourish, strengthen, and sustain us. Yes, pure, very hard to find right now, but it's out there, and I won't get into that. That's another story, but I hear your pain with that because I feel the same way, but there's just more inconvenience in getting pure food, but it's there. Daniel 1.15 says, and at the end of 10 days, their features appeared.
better and fatter in flesh. Fatter in the Bible means robust, hearty, healthy. It doesn't mean what we think of it today. In the Bible, it meant that you were healthy and you were a wonderful person to look at because your body was just was healthy. And that's what Daniel meant. Fatter in flesh than all the young men who ate the portion of the king's delicacies. What was
the king's delicacies. It was meat and beef and goat and whatever else they were eating at that time with wine and just foods that cause more digestion work and stay longer in the digestive track and do not give you the livelihood. So what happened? 10 days later, Daniel and his friends,
Dr. Kimberly LeHew (28:11.52)
are looking pretty good to the king and the king starts thinking, okay, we're all going to do that. It's my army, my servants are going to eat the same way. They weren't happy about that. They wanted their delicacies. They didn't want to eat these fruits and vegetables, but nonetheless, you want to stop premature aging. You want this belly fat to go away. You start to eat
better foods that God designed. And I am telling you from taking people, especially men through a purification program, which is 21 days, they, I'd had men come in and say, I don't like fruits and I don't eat vegetables. And that's how they started it. And it's a kind of structured through these 21 days. And by day 17, 18, 19, their taste buds were changing. Why? Because they get anesthetized by these
delicacies, so to speak, even think of how clean they were probably were back there, the beef and the, you know, whatever delicacies they were eating at that time. So, you know, to eat, take those away. you don't have that sugar or high fat or the stimulants from the adrenaline from the beef or the goat or whatever they were eating. So they're not getting those other components.
but your body begins to adapt and your taste buds begin to adapt. Choosing God's way of eating led Daniel and his friends to radiant health, even in the culture of compromise. So I am telling you that even in 21 days, men, I can't think of any women right off hand because most of them had eaten a few fruits and vegetables, but they change in just 21 days. Those taste buds begin to wake up and go, wow.
This is what this apple really tastes like. I'm liking this apple. It's really sweet as opposed to them having coffee with creamer and lots of sugar. That's sweet and an apple isn't. That change and that shift starts to take place as you start to wake up those taste buds. So what happens is inflammation, gut health, hormones begin to balance by...
Dr. Kimberly LeHew (30:23.36)
nature, that's how God designed it so beautifully because he's so brilliant in his design of our bodies and health and food. So when you start to eat that way, you're not chasing inflammation with anti-inflammatories. You're not sitting there going, my gosh, what probiotics do I need to take? Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah with that. And you're not having to do take, do, you're not having to take synthetic hormones. The hormones, I will say honestly,
is a whole another, it's layer. Having done, having coached women, helped women through hormone balancing is a task and it can absolutely be done naturally. There's more of a time, time investment when you're doing that for most, not all, but if you're, you know, if you're 55, 65 and you haven't,
eaten very well and your belly fat, let's say three sizes bigger, can tell you hormone may take a little longer, but nonetheless, you start feeling better really quick and your body starts to respond better really quick to those inflammation because you're, well, that's a whole nother, that's a whole nother video. could, I got to stay on track here.
Second part is elimination pathways. So we have God's food and elimination pathways. If you've listened to any of my videos, I'm going to be going hard on this because it is such a foundational piece, is the inner terrain. My mentor said the inner terrain, if you're sick, if you have chronic illness, you have, I can't name the names because I get in trouble, but if you have those conditions and poor health quality conditions that are pretty
advanced, wink, wink, and you have weight issues and you have that belly fat, then your inner terrain needs help. It needs a cleanup. So these elimination pathways, if they aren't functioning well, digestion, metabolic waste, urine, so you have bowel movements, urine, and then
Dr. Kimberly LeHew (32:43.138)
That's our kidneys working, that's our filter, what's coming out through the skin, what's coming out in air, our breath. What's coming out through these elimination pathways is very important. And when they're healthy, belly fat begins to decrease. Yes, because your digestion is improving, your lymphatic system is improving, inflammation is coming down, your hormones are beginning that balance process, your blood sugar,
begins to balance more easily. Your immune system takes a big boost. So when you start to get these elimination pathways that is designed by God in the body, that's when you start seeing some really big changes. And then the third thing, no surprise after I've made such a note about your identity in Christ is so important and you're renewing your mind with God's word daily, that is when
The outside world doesn't fool you with marketing. You don't get emotionally involved with your food as much. You start to make better choices and you're not so tempted. And God is there to help you through that. He is there to give you strength as you walk this path. He is there to give you wisdom. He is there to bring a peace about you.
He is there to help you through these challenges because a lot of people with weight issues and belly fat, there's a tie to the food. And when you get that in perspective and you get stronger in your identity in Christ and you're renewing your mind on daily basis, you're not gonna be tempted by the enemy constantly about eating things that would not be as healthy or doing things that are not as godly.
So one of the things in Proverbs three, five, six, relying on ourselves alone, he is there. He wants to help you think of how you are for your child. If you have children or your pet or someone you love, you want to be there for them. You want to help them through it, but you wouldn't want them to suffer by themselves and you would want them to maybe reach out and ask.
Dr. Kimberly LeHew (35:04.266)
or can I just have a hug? You know, if you're feeling down, you don't have to do this alone. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding and in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths. He will help you make better decisions. Do not have to, you don't have to rely on yourself. God reliance directs us. The more we rely on Him, the happier He is. He wants you to reach out to Him continuously. And
When you are starting to be tempted or you're getting frustrated or angry or shameful or guilty, all of those negative feelings that come over you, fearful, what if I don't make the right move? What if I'm worried, worried, worried? No, those are spirits from the enemy. God gave you a spirit of power, of love and a sound mind. What does that mean? Power? You have the power to make better decisions within you. You have authority.
You have love within you. Love, perfect love cast out fear. There's nothing to be anxious for. Love can begin to bring that down and give you a sense of stability, a sound mind. You're not battling in your head. Remember that roller coaster I was talking to you about? Come off that roller coaster, get that freedom from being and having a sound mind. Second Timothy 1, 7 says, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but a power love and a sound mind.
When our identity is in Christ, we are grounded in His strength, in His love, in His clarity, and in His confidence. That's why you can be confident all the time. You're not confident in yourself, you're confident in Christ who is within you. It's such a different life. It's so amazing and so freeing. Believe and trust in the Lord for peace and strength. Isaiah 26, three, four says,
You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind has stayed on him because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever. The Lord is everlasting strength, everlasting. That means not just today, not just at night, not just for breakfast, but everlasting. He is there with you. Does that mean you're going to wake up and never have a problem with that food battle? No, it doesn't mean that. But if you call on him, it begins to get.
Dr. Kimberly LeHew (37:30.178)
bigger and stronger and stronger and stronger to where you're so in tuned with his presence within you that that strength just comes up and you're like back off and you start making better decisions. Peace comes not from striving but trusting in God's unchanging strength. It doesn't happen overnight.
When people say, I'm a new creation in Christ, wait a minute, my body looks the same. It's not your physical body when you are a new creation in Christ. It's your inner, it's your spirit. Your spirit is now a new creation in Christ sealed. Nothing can take it from you. That's what that means. Sometimes that verse gets thrown in there. Romans 12 two says, and do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove.
What is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God? He wants you to be healthy. He's provided everything you need. He's given you a body that you have no idea how brilliant it is and what it is capable of, what you are capable of. You can get up out of bed and not have pain or stiffness or achiness. Now,
I will tell you this is another video, but I want to say it quickly because I did have aches and pains when I did the keto diet for a short period of time when I lost. That's a whole story. Why I did it, how long I did it. But a year and a half in when I started getting aches and pains and I didn't feel like myself, I was 52 and I was thinking, or may has 51 thinking, um, this is getting older. That thought.
even as trained as I am came over me. was like, Whoa, no. And the next morning, when I started thinking about it lot and I got up in the next morning, as soon as I started to walk around the bed, God spoke to me, go back, go back to what the plan is. I went back because I was a raw foodist for a long time and I felt great, but it was more strict.

And I don't do strict rules all the time. I shouldn't say all the time at all. don't do strict rules. don't live perfect. I don't have to live perfect. You get to a level of health, you get that foundation and you get some choices and leeway. You don't have to be perfect. And so as I step back into my raw foods and I started doing exercise a little bit differently, adding in some things of movement.
20 years old, I feel so good. And I'm saying that fully confident for the last six years, I get up and I feel young in my body. I reversed it from what it was at 51 when I was feeling, you know, and I noticed it when I would go on the tennis courts and my body would feel a little different. didn't like my hamstring was tight a lot and I was having it wasn't because of being old. It wasn't because of
of what I was doing on the tennis court. It was how I was eating and it was how I was caring for the exercise movement part, what I was doing. And I wasn't doing it as God designed it, what I knew. I knew better and I didn't, but that's okay. I forgive myself moving on because it became helpful for me to know the difference. It gave me a way to help you because now I understand exactly
when you start to let go of things like strict diets, what the difference is. So let's just do a quick recap here. The keys to losing belly fat, God's design for food is health. Our bodies are our temple that houses the Holy Spirit, but our bodies belong to Him. Our peace and our strength come from Him, trusting Him. Our spirit is empowered by His spirit. Our lives

You will be stable and able for your life and your belly fat will start to go away. Not because you're targeting belly fat, because you understand the body, you know how to eat, you know what to do, and that is how you have a leaner,

healthier body for the rest of your life. So the obstacles, identity and that rigid focus, we're going to get rid of that, that identity in Christ in your context and the actions you take come from a different place in your heart. Elimination pathways need to be going fully healthy. God's food needs to be 80, 90 % of your food. Begin to build that identity in Christ and renew.
your mind with God's word, with scripture every single day, every morning. Do it. You will feel like a different person. So I hope you know now that you can lose belly fat God's way. So thank you so much for being here. It's been a pleasure. I hope you enjoyed it. And we're going to go to,
