This is about uncovering the root cause. If you've been wondering, why don't I feel like myself anymore? Even after diets and health programs and endless advice,
this podcast is for you. You're about to learn the healing power of your body and begin mastering your emotions.
Overcoming self doubt and fear with God's word, the key to complete self cellular restoration.
This is what I call being healthy and victorious. You are not too late. Let's go.
Hello and welcome back.
Today we're talking about something that I've recorded probably 13 times right now, because every time I go into it, I realize just how big and deep this topic actually is and how trapped and sucked into a matrix that people go into,
including myself for 14 years.
And so let me ask you, are you trying to lose weight and doing all the things that your dieting guru or whoever you're following told you to do,
but you still feel like you're searching for answers?
Do you search for the best diet to lose weight, how to lose weight and be healthy? How can I lose weight and not diet? Are you searching for that one answer, that one plan where you can finally eat normally, live normally and feel like yourself again?
If that's you, I think this episode is really going to help you. And if it doesn't give you all the answers today, I'm going to give you something to think about.
At least something to bring into conversation with God in your prayer time. Something that will help you shift your perspective and free you. Because I promise you, there is a way out.
There is freedom and weight loss outside of the diet matrix.
So what is the diet matrix? Well,
what it is, this is actually going to be part one.
Because this is so wide and deep, I knew I couldn't give all the answers in a whole podcast. So I'm breaking this up into two parts.
But this first part is what is the diet matrix? Why it is formed, why it's so important that you recognize it. And then I'll talk about the five common traps and how maybe you can start to see if you are in the diet matrix.
Because in the beginning days of my weight loss and trying to have the perfect body and reading calorie books and books on health,
actually I would be in bookstores on the floor reading for hours at this time there was Walden Books, I don't even know if they're around anymore. But the section on nutrition was pretty small.
It's nothing like it is today, maybe 30 books.
And part of those weren't just diet, but some nutrition, some healers from,
you know, some that we may know like Herbert Shelton or Isaac Jennings or Arnold Ehretz and people like that. But I started to follow these different teachings because I believe that God put it in my heart early.
There was. It was just weird for me to be so in entrenched with,
with food and how it was affecting my body from the science perspective, not just about weight loss,
but anyways, following these natural laws that I learned about, I did get to my desired weight pretty quickly and fit into the clothes I wanted to.
But guess what? I was miserable. Because I went from a basic understanding of how to get in shape to it taking over my life, my mind.
And it seemed like overnight I slipped into this way of thinking that became a little irrational, a little obsessive,
and I became very rigid. And it's a world of controlling yourself so tightly that you don't want to slip up. It's like a trap.
So after years in it and counseling women on eating and food and body image and diet,
and then I moved on to become a doctor to restore health and all of this started to come in to kind of like full circle.
So what is the diet matrix? It is a big exhausting world that women get into when they're trying to lose weight. So it's not necessarily about the food or about your willpower or honestly it's not even about your weight most of the time.
It's a way that you think,
it's a way that you believe about losing weight, about your body,
about food and what it's going to do to your body and how you can control it and what needs to be done.
It's a way of striving towards something that you determine in your mind is hard and you have to really hold it tight. You have to really strive in what you're doing.
And you're seeing yourself as heavy and pounds to lose,
but you're also have a tight grip on it. So it consumes a lot of mind space,
it drains your energy, it steals your joy and it keeps you in this constant cycle of pushing hard toward another part of you that believes it's possible because people have showed you it's possible.
And they have all these programs and teachings online that you may have listened to. And that's where your hope come from, comes from.
But What I say is it's not about the food or, or even your weight or your body.
It is a heart issue. It is a mind issue. Heart and mind,
the mindset that quietly traps you into believing false ideas about who you are, your worth, your attractiveness,
your value, your beauty, your self confidence.
It seems to in this world today definitely be tied to how you look and what you weigh or how perfectly you eat or how you appear to have it all together and be healthy.
Jesus addressed this part of it like this cycle, without ever talking about food. He always went straight to the heart.
Because it is the heart that deter, that determines what your choices are. It starts forming your beliefs and then these beliefs take root.
And your image of yourself comes from what is in your heart.
And when your heart is burdened by,
by,
you know, a, a, a mind that thinks about comparing yourself to others and striving toward these people, maybe on Instagram or whoever you see on advertising or you, you wake up and you're getting dressed and you have this judgment about your legs or your belly or whatever you determine is not,
you know, you don't like it, you want to get rid of it by losing weight.
Do you know all of those types of feelings come from the spirit of fear? They're all under the umbrella of fear.
And the spirit of fear dwells in the mind of someone in the diet matrix. It's when your mind focuses on,
or whatever your mind focuses on, it gets bigger, it grows and then your behaviors follow and it's like your behavior then confirms how, how you think and it becomes this cycle.
That's the diet matrix. It's why women, they can eat clean or try a diet that has proof like they see it. Oh, that guy's on the whiteboard, he's proving that I am going to be a fat burner.
Yet they still chase weight and having control of their weight and,
and they get stuck.
And that is the prison of being in the diet matrix.
It's in the thoughts that come from the spirit of fear. It's the emotions that create that specific frequency that brings it into your reality. Exactly what you fear, your identity,
how you see yourself is your carnal mind of flesh.
And if you're allowing that,
the overwhelm of fear and comparison and self judgment to run your mind,
it's no wonder you're striving so hard and have that tight grip of control of what you eat. Your numbers, your macros, the scale, your clothes.
It's this overwhelming attention with self doubt and striving that causes this wave particle to collapse the quiff, if you will, in the infinite world of possibilities called the Kingdom of God,
to become what you experience.
Now you may be thinking, wait a minute, what are you talking about? Quiffs. And that is going to be another teaching. Like I said, this is so wide and deep.
But I'm hitting the basics here because as now in the 21st century and science is starting to confirm a quantum field,
he,
the. The. He, the. The science field is just now being able to explain what Jesus was explaining in the Bible all along.
The language is different.
Jesus called it the Kingdom of God.
The science calls it the Matrix, the field.
I don't know what universe or whatever. But then we know that the new age got ahold of it. Because the new age does, or Satan does, take a hold of scripture, takes a hold of ideas,
truths, twists them,
lies to you and makes it for his good,
makes it for him to kill, steal and destroy.
So it's not that we have to completely do away with quantum physics. That's what I did when I thought, oh, that's. That's being New age.
It's understanding quantum physics in the perspective of. This is what Jesus was saying. Is it matching up? This is how wave particles, collapsing quiffs, infinite world of possibilities. Your mind renewing your mind.
This is how it all starts to come together.
And when you're chasing something tight, gripping something,
fighting for something,
you're doing it as a being of that particular emotion and act that's in your mind and in your heart.
So if you're. If like for instance, if you. If you're feeling like you're not enough,
you're acting from that place your decisions and your actions are coming from not enough.
If you're being someone who feels chosen and loved and secure in Christ,
then your choices naturally shift from this confidence of being in Christ.
You see, Jesus came to break these cycles. Exactly.
Cycles like this that what we get caught up in.
And when the heart is restored and the mind is renewed, the body will respond.
And that's what I'm talking about. It's that freedom.
I was in that diametric. So I know what it's like to be so deep in it. I mean, I remember I used to feel like I hated my legs when I was younger.
I was built like my mom and dad, these little powerhouses. My dad was very muscular and worked out and was swimming and my mom was a dancer, but was just built a little short and had these muscles.
Well,
that was where I developed this muscly little body. But if there's fat on top of it, that appearance just was not what I wanted. So I just hated my legs.
So fast forward from that into the eating disorder days. My legs began to shrink as I started to lose weight, and I was very lean and,
and I was changing on the inside. I was losing weight, my body was changing. I was happy about that.
But I paid a heavy price because I lost my joy, I lost my sense of.
Freedom in my mind.
And I was very controlled by food and what my body was doing and not necessarily health at that, at those younger years,
but only if I'd had Jesus at that time. And that's what you have. You have Jesus. You have the confidence of Christ, the power of Christ to work in you, to help you through this, so you don't spend years and years in the diet matrix.
And I think while I'm bringing this to attention, to your attention is to get you thinking, is what you're doing keeping you in it?
Matthew 6, 25, 27 and 33, they come together to say, therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life. What you eat or drink.
Isn'T life. Not. Is not life more than food? Can any one of you, by worrying at a single hour to your life, but seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and all of the things, all these things will be given to you.
That understanding will be given to you. Jesus redirects our focus away from fixating on food and the external, what our body's doing,
and it comes more in.
Embracing God's word.
So it changes your heart and you begin trusting yourself. You're trusting the word of God.
I know this seems like a big picture concept to solve your weight problems. And you may be thinking, well,
that's not going to help me get to my desired weight so I can be healthy. But it's these beliefs and who you're being underneath,
why you eat, why you restrict food, why you need macros to follow, why you do certain things to control.
And all of this is from that spirit of fear. And that's what the diet matrix is. It's control, it's fear. It's.
It's robbing you of,
of freedom and joy and true health.
Once I stepped out of it, truly out of it, 1994,
it took a few years to have trust in myself and,
and just the nature of living,
listening to my body and, and focusing on other things.
I. I could eat and not have to exercise every calorie away. I could eat and not feel like I failed that day based on what I ate.
So I learned to look at food for what it was. And I stopped allowing the world of the diet matrix to rule my life.
I started appreciating my legs and I started talking to myself differently, completely differently.
And I, and I, like I said, I didn't have the benefit of God's word in my life at that time,
which made it more difficult because I was kind of bringing in my carnal mind with positive thinking, with quantum physics. And luckily a bit of quantum physics allowed me to see what Jesus was saying, but I didn't have Jesus's words.
So I did begin to experience that level of freedom. And that's what I want for you. I want you to be able to step away from this and lose weight and be healthy.
And I know that that is possible. I did it and I know you can too.
So chasing weight loss, it just makes weight loss have more power.
The more you think you need to lose weight, the more you have to control it tightly, the more you will.
Proverbs 23:7 says, for as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.
So I had to start thinking, I am lean, I have the body I want, I maintain it easily. I started to see myself as a thin person, as a healthy person.
And this, this,
that part of it, when I started declaring those things kind of came about when I was studying for my master's in spiritual psychology.
And I wanted to be in control of my mind. I wanted to have a mind that was free and healthy and not have eating disorder remnants coming in and out of my life.
And so as I worked on that and worked on myself,
that is how my freedom began to take place.
But now I think, oh my gosh, if I had the Lord with me, if I had the Bible,
how much faster,
how much easier, how much more comforting it would have been to get out of the diet matrix.
So after spiritual psychology psychology, I went on to chiropractic school.
That's where I really solidified and learned about real health, natural laws, how anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, physics, pathology.
All of this comes together for the truth of how our body thrives.
How do we get cells to rejuvenate and be healthy? Because our body is a self healing organism.
So there was no more dilemmas after three years of biochemistry about what to eat or how bod, how my body would thrive,
how to keep my weight at,
at a healthy level with out trying to, with, you know, being able to go out from lunch when I was in chiropractic school and not worry about what I was eating or how much I was eating.
It was just the fuel for the body.
And it just came full circle, like I said, of the people that I was studying when I was just starting out at 14 years old.
And that is what is so beautiful. God places in your heart your purpose.
Because I think people are like, what am I supposed to do with my life? What is my direction?
Well,
whatever delights your heart and however you can serve is the answer of what God placed in your life to be your purpose.
And so,
you know, it was just a beautiful thing to understand from a chemistry, biochemistry, physiology.
After studying thousands of cases where natural laws reverse conditions what the real diet is for man.
But back to the diet matrix,
because I get, like I said, this thing, I can go far and wide with this. But back to the diet matrix. Two people can eat the same thing.
They can look like they're doing the same thing, go to the gym, workout the same way.
Yet one on the inside feels peaceful,
free, joyful about life, and the other one feels,
feels anxious. They're obsessing about what they just ate, and they feel controlled by,
by this,
by this thinking of,
I have to lose weight. I have to have control over this.
So I don't bring up the diet matrix to make you feel wrong in any way, but I'm trying to show you that there's a way out,
that there is a way of thinking and living and being that is keeping you stuck and keeping you chasing your weight instead of freely starting to lose weight with freedom and ease and joy and forever being within three to five pounds of your weight and never walking into your closet and all of a sudden your,
your jeans won't zip up. There's never that big, far big weight gain or even weight loss because your mind is right, your heart is right,
and you, you learn the true nature of the body, what it requires, and what true health really is. How there John 6:3:5 says, I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.
It is a reminder that true satisfaction, because food can become very emotional and can become your life as far as making you happy and satisfied and feel loved and all of these nurturing aspects of food.
But true satisfaction comes from Jesus, not food, not our appearance, not our performance, not how we look in our clothes.
Food is in the culture, yes, it's very emotionally tied to life and celebrations and things of that nature.
But food is, it becomes what you believe about it. And when you can put it in its place of what it is,
and live life from a sense of freedom, knowing how to be healthy.
I think that's when you start to take back power over your life, but giving it to Christ first.
You know, having lived in that diet matrix for 15 years, it's easy to discern where it's popping up and where women are talking in a way that makes it identifiable that that's what they're in.
It becomes like a pattern or verbiage of what they're saying,
and there's a rigidity about it, so it becomes easy to spot.
And not. Not that I'm like, oh, I'm calling women out,
but I just see it in so many women is what my. I guess my point was, is that it's not something that I think people are really talking about.
I think many think they have the answer to weight loss.
If you go on Instagram and you're talking about diet and weight loss and how to keep the weight off and maintain your weight,
there is still a lot of people in the industry of weight loss and health coaches.
They believe what they're doing really is the answer to weight loss because they lost weight and this is how they're maintaining their weight.
But to me,
what I see is misinformation about food chemistry.
Some doctors are showing the truth of,
of what the body really requires, but missing the emotional, mental, mind piece,
the heart piece, the full encompassing part of health. If you look at my health model and it looks like a kite,
the physical body's the last to know. It's at the bottom. It's your mental, emotional is above that. That is what we cannot see with the naked eye. And the spiritual world is above that.
That's the model of health.
And I see many health coaches and gurus and programs not talking about that part. And they may just say in their program, you know what, you go do your emotional, mental health, but I'm going to do the physical body.
This is how you lose weight. But to me, they're so connected, I can. That's why I developed healthy and victorious, because you cannot separate them in my mind.
Because when you start thinking right and thinking more like Christ and have a Christ identity,
the area of food and physiology in your health all respond from that, because every cell is always listening to your mind.
So even if you have the actions right and you got your macros right and you're at your ideal weight, you're in the diet matrix. You know, you're under A to me, in that world of prison.
And if you're happy with your weight and you're in that and you like it, then there's really no reason for you to be here.
Particularly. You're happy and you're content, so you're, you're good. But for the person who is still trying to lose weight, you want a natural answer. You want God in the picture.
You want the freedom from this obsession of trying to lose weight constantly.
And you want the freedom in your heart to love who you are.
But loving Christ,
more obviously, you're putting him above all things.
But you're not under that spirit of fear. You have the spirit of power, love, and a sound mind.
How you see food, how you see yourself, how you see eating, and your weight,
and it becomes such a natural joy of living.
And your weight will naturally go to your ideal weight. That's how I see it. I really do.
So what I want to get to next is I want to walk through six of the biggest. Well, five of the biggest. What I see as diet matrix traps.
So you can start recognizing them if you're in them and then think about that, see if that's where you want to be or if you want to step out of it.
Okay, just getting into the second part of this diet matrix is the traps that I see.
I'm just going to list the top five traps that are common.
And maybe if you recognize them within you, you'll want to maybe evaluate them and step back, observe, see how you're feeling,
see if they apply to you. And if they do, you know, that's maybe an area you can let go of and replace it with more productive or more conducive to health type thoughts and beliefs and habits.
Okay, so the first one is diets. A diet, a man made theory,
a way to eat. There are so many books on this,
videos on YouTube, whiteboard gurus laying it out, talking about the chemistry, talking about a certain diet to follow that will help you lose weight.
And some can even take the Bible and take different scripture and kind of make it fit into what they want it to say. And trying to, to interpret it in a way that helps them kind of give a,
a argument for the diet that they want to eat.
And this is what I go back to. Even when there's been a couple of times where I'm listening to these doctors and they're on YouTube and they're explaining what they're doing and what's happening in the body and, and it almost is believable to me,
except.
Except I come back to the facts. There's Two facts that will override what they're saying.
If they're moving into a particular specific diet that moves away from what was in Genesis.
And you're like, what's in Genesis? Well, I'll talk about that. But if you know my videos, you know that I am plant based, but not even plant based.
More raw foods, more living fruits, vegetables, herbs, seeds,
some sea vegetables and nuts and seeds,
but very less cooked foods and minimal, minimal cooked animal proteins or fish. I would, I don't even consider an animal protein edible. But fish,
um, yes I do. Okay, so what are the facts? Why do I lean back toward this particular diet? That's in the Bible. In Genesis is. Number one is the chemistry.
What is happening in the body when you're eating,
let's say I'm just going to pick on this one, a carnivore diet. What is happening to your body when you're eating meat,
let's say three times a day, and that's your big meal source with vegetables or salad. So they'll say, well, I'm eating enough fruits and vegetables, but I'm also eating meat.
Well, the chemistry of meat, a dense protein like that being broken down into amino acids,
is very acidic.
And we can't change that chemistry. The chemistry is what it is. No matter what you say, no matter what you put on the whiteboard,
it's an acid.
And too many acids are corrosive, they are hardening, they are inflammatory,
they do burden the digestive tract, they do harm the microbiome in the gut.
They do because they're an acid.
Now you may say, well,
you can't just eat all alkaline foods. And I agree with that.
But to the point where you're eating acids in every meal and eating a more carnivore diet, that to me is you're eating an acidic diet and pre premature aging will settle in.
And unfortunately it takes years for some people to really realize that because their weight looks good, they look good on the scale, they look good in their clothes,
but yet on the inside they're rapidly aging.
The second is the results of what happens when you eat healthy living foods,
when you're eating plant based.
And you know, I don't even normally say plant based. I only, I don't even know why I'm saying that now. I think because I went at what I've been just reading,
I never say plant based diet, it's more living foods diet.
But when you're eating a living foods diet,
conditions,
diseases,
I have seen and read cases and my Patients begin to reverse conditions,
conditions that were said that, you know, this probably isn't going to be reversible. This is what you're going to have to live with.
If you go to very serious conditions,
and there's many doctors who write books on this, they reverse a lot of these conditions when they remove animal protein, when they remove dairy and sugar and all of the foods that are highly acidic and corrosive to the body.
So if we're looking at what diet, well, what diets help my cells heal themselves.
Fruits, vegetables, some nuts and seeds,
herbs.
And so that really the, the proof is in that to me, if you want to live a long quality of life, if you want to feel good and look your absolute best and have lots of energy and,
and be confident in what you're doing is creating health on the inside,
then you're not really following a man made theory. Diet, you're eating the living foods that God provided for us. So the second trap I see people fall into is counting calories or macros.
That is a form of control.
And to me it is a form of stress. Even when you are doing it correctly and you're, you're hitting your numbers or your calorie count,
it's still a tight form of control. And control falls under the umbrella of fear.
And God did not give us the spirit of fear,
but of power, love and a sound mind.
And when we are tempted to eat more. And so we want that tight control,
we want to know that we're doing it exactly right because we have perfectionism or we're judging ourselves harshly and we want to make sure that we do it right.
We need structure.
That rigidity robs you of joy and freedom.
And what I want is for people to have freedom to, when you step outside of the diet metrics,
you begin to,
to take care of yourself, your basic needs with joy. There is no worry, there is no tight control.
And counting calories, which I did for years,
never really was macro, counter or keto or any of those, I did do it for a very short period of time until my body began to have inflammation to the point I was noticing it in digestion and how my joints, how I felt in my body.
And that's when you know, I, I switched right back to the raw food diet. But not that you have to be raw food. You can still eat cooked vegetables and things of that nature.
And it's not that you have to even be a vegetarian. You can have fish and those things. But I,
and it may seem sound like, well, you're in the diet matrix if you're talking about these foods that you can and cannot have.
But the point is,
when you're balanced inside, your chemistry's right, when you're healthy and you have a foundation of health that you've eaten for a while,
you do not crave sugar. You don't want,
you know, pieces of cake and fried foods,
because when you eat those, you feel it in your mouth, the coating, it's just gross. You don't want to eat that way.
And if you're craving those types of foods, then it's just a matter of time, of being healthy, eating healthy, that you develop a natural appetite for the right foods and you have more energy and you feel good and that that's what you want to eat.
And when you start having that freedom and you start listening to your body,
you don't need to start counting calories and macros and you know, take a height, control grip on everything that you're doing because you trust yourself,
you trust Jesus, you believe in the foods that he gave us to supply our bodies with fuel and to eat right and to have long lasting health.
And so counting calories and macros in the matrix,
stepping down of that gives you,
gives you lots of freedom and,
and you're not so rigid with everything what that you're eating and counting.
The third trap is exercising to eat. This is kind of easy to spot when you're watching marathons and things of that nature, because people who are runners, they're lean. They're lean because they're eating right and they're running.
Not that I'm saying you have to go be a runner to run,
but when people exercise to eat,
they may go to the gym and,
you know, put in so much time on the treadmill or cardio equipment. And then when they go to dinner, they feel like they've earned the right to have spaghetti and two pieces of bread or, and some wine or whatever they want because they burned it off in the gym.
And that's stepping into the diet metrics because you're doing this mental gymnastics of addition, subtraction of what you did. I did that for a very long time. So I know that feeling of adding up what I ate and then having to work out to the degree that there was a zero balance,
basically.
So I get that it's easy to fall into or to make yourself feel okay if you overeat.
And I don't think there's anything wrong with it on occasion, but it's when you live by that, it becomes a real trap. And it seems to really start to regulate what you're eating and when you're going to exercise.
And if you don't get exercise in, it becomes a stressful or even minimal stress that you're worried about it. And it's just tight control.
The fourth trap is supplements. Now,
all of these are not bad.
Unless it's in the context of other details around it.
And the same goes with the supplements, because people can take supplements. It's fine, I take supplements,
but I'm not taking supplements to support my bad eating habits or because I don't feel like eating vegetables or.
Whatever the cases, if, if you're supporting a genetic weakness, if you need reassurance because you're eating well,
but you know, the nutrients maybe and the foods that you're getting in the winter aren't as nutritious. And so you up your vitamin C and D and E and A or something like that, and you're supplementing of that nature.
I don't necessarily disagree with supplements, but in the context of I'm not eating any vegetables, I'm just going to eat this, you know, red pill and a green pill and therefore I get my vegetables is never going to cut it for health.
And so, yes, supplements in context, it really is a case by case basis. But you'll know if you're in the diet matrix, you know why you're taking supplements and why you need them in your life.
So it's either to benefit with health and freedom or it's benefit because there's some lack of responsibility of eating healthy and following the body. And I know that I don't want to sound like I'm harping and putting you down or coming after you in that way.
I think the more that we understand these diet traps, this diet matrix that we can live in,
the more we chase weight loss.
Because with freedom, you're not chasing weight loss. The weight begins to come off and you can maintain it without that tight grip of control.
So whether it's diet or counting calories, macros, exercising to eat, or supplements,
all of these in context to where what your brain is thinking and believing is how you would identify if you're in the diet matrix or not.
And the very last that I did do a podcast on this is menus.
When people need a menu, they need someone to tell them what to eat, how much to eat, when to eat.
That is giving up your own intuition, your own body,
ability to know your body, listen to your body,
choose freely what you want, when you want It.
I'm not about, oh, I just.
I say I eat whatever I want, but, yeah, I would love to get up and have a piece of chocolate cake for breakfast,
but would I eat that? No, I really don't want to. It just sounds fun and it sounds like the old me would have said that,
but if I woke up and it was like, here, eat this big chocolate piece of cake, I wouldn't eat it because I know how it makes me feel. I don't really want that.
Matter of fact, I want something more hydrating,
and that definitely isn't hydrating. And I don't want the ups and downs of that much sugar. And I. It's just not something I want. And so what I'm saying is,
in the context of it, your beliefs and your thinking around food and what you're choosing is going to come from a nature of peace and freedom and wisdom.
And the wisdom comes from when you learn about foods, you learn about your body, you put the two together and you begin to eat in a way that is personal and satisfies you.
But yet it is under the umbrella of health. It is healthy for you.
And I know some people have a hard time thinking that those vegetables and certain foods they don't like,
but there's such variety. There's so many ways to prepare foods.
There's. There's almost,
almost a suggested healthy item to take the place of the unhealthy item. I know that book. Eat this, not that, or whatever.
That's nothing compared to today's time of,
oh, you want some ice cream? Here, take a bunch of bananas and put them in the food processor with some cacao. And you've got chocolate ice cream with some stevia.
Right? And so there's ways to make things that you love,
but.
It'S the mind with which you do it. It's who you're, who you're being.
And people are in the doing to lose weight. But what you need to be is the person who is the ideal weight that you want.
Seeing yourself healthy, seeing yourself,
choosing wisely and you're your ideal weight and operating from the fact that that's you, that can be you.
You don't need diets and counting and supplements. And if it's in the right,
you know, depending on the context and menus to get you there.
If you're in the diet matrix, you are chasing weight loss, you are gripping, you're using control.
And those are the traps that I just talked about.
Yes,
some of those you may have, but you're not in the diet matrix and it's all based on what you're thinking, how you're living, how much freedom you have, your beliefs about it, and you're probably at your ideal weight because they wouldn't have a grasp on you and you wouldn't be striving and using so much effort.
You would be more at peace in yourself and be making choices from joy and that are changing and not rigid, rigid the same every day if that makes sense. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.
I hope it was helpful. If anything, I hope it got you thinking about where is your mind when it comes to weight loss and what you're trying to accomplish, how you're trying to get there.
What are, what tools are you using, what ways are you trying to lose weight? Are, are you coming from a place of I want to do this naturally and learn about my body and learn about the foods that really help my cells thrive, or do I want to grasp ahold of this,
do what somebody tells me to do online,
follow this menu and oh my gosh, I lost 10 pounds.
The problem is the diet industry is a billion dollar industry if,
if not more at this point because it doesn't last and it is because you're in the diet metrics.
I hope this was helpful and if it was, share it with a friend who may need to hear this.
I'm here for you. I want to help you.
I love you guys and I truly want you to be as healthy as you can be and feel good,
look your best and love the Lord. Follow.
Follow what he says because he tells us that,
you know, we're not we're not to worry about what we're going to eat. He tells us not to worry about what we're going to wear.
Why? Because we don't need to worry about it. Just let it be and come from a nature of joy and peace and your mind is focused on seeking the kingdom and not seeking a number on the scale.
All right,
glad you are here. I hope you have a blessed, wonderful day and I'll talk to you in the next podcast.
